College of Qom Construction & Development
Constructional activities of C.Q are one of the most important
activities that have been developed remarkably among the proving
universities and country’s scientific centers. By buying 5 Hectares
of surrounding land, C.Q has made a wide green area that has
effect on mental and spiritual health of persons that can’t be
denied.
For administrating of this green area, C.Q has arranged a contract
with private section, the other constructional activities of C.Q
are building two colleges, one dormitory, sports hall, consultation
and health center, a library and self- service with capacity of 1000
students and professors.
It must be said that some of these constructional projects were
inaugurated at presence of president and assistant board at two
times on 2001 and 2002. After the promotion of Qom’s higher
education complex to College of Qom, Tehran University has
agreed to establish management, law, theology, and philosophy
faculty in C.Q. According to existing standards and promotion of
the college, this center is able to accept students in all of
existing majors of Tehran University.
Presidents of the three faculties were elected in spring of 2006 and
the results are as follows:
Hojat Al-Islam Habiballah Taheri as the dean of Philosophy and
Religious Jurisprudence College.
Dr. hossein khanifar as the dean of Management College.
Dr. Jalil Ghanaavati as the dean of Law College.
By ten years project, C.Q is going to construct several colleges
and accept students in constructional, psychology, technical,
sociology, agriculture, and physical education majors.
Attempts have been done for allocation of surrounding lands and
other places to C.Q and constructing the necessary buildings in
the surrounded lands.
30 hectares of opposite lands of College, with assistance of Qom’s
mayor has been allocated for future purposes. Also several hectares
of worthy land will be allocated to the college. |
